Parent's Page - Basic Information

Welcome to the Parents’ Page of the Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi) website! You’re making the right decision by wanting to learn more about your student's involvement in AKPsi. Please take a few minutes to learn more about the benefits AKPsi provides.
Dues and Fees Structure
Alpha Kappa Psi is self-supported through dues charged to all members. During the initial pledging period, the fraternity charges each chapter a one-time pledge fee and a one-time initiation fee. Each semester after that until graduation, your student is charged a fee for student member dues. In addition, there is an annual liability/accident insurance fee charged to each student. The local chapter will also charge your student dues above and beyond what the fraternity charges each chapter for each student member. Your student is responsible for paying the local chapter the dues and fees assessed, and the chapter then sends the portion of that amount due to the overall fraternity.
