On April 11, 2008 four members of the Xi Sigma chapter
at Florida International University participated in the annual Johnson & Johnson case competition. Hosted
for more than fifteen years, this competition has brought attention to dedicated
students interested in financial careers to obtain internships or job
opportunities.
The case involved three possible investment options. The goal of
each team was to select what they considered the best option, taking into
consideration financial and other strategic analysis. Out of ten
possible schools selected across the country, Florida International University
placed first with their creative presentation.
The four members that participated were:Anthony Munyaka, Isselle Medina , Jaime Montalvan, and Maria E. Sabando. Each member valued their learning
experience at Johnson & Johnson headquarters, and strongly recommends any
individual interested in broadening their analytical skills to participate in
it.
