The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation manages numerous scholarship endowments. Established by chapters and individuals, the interest income from these endowments is used to support annual scholarships. Some scholarships are available to all AKPsi students, while others focus specifically on those majoring in specific fields, such as accounting or healthcare management.
Fraternity-wide scholarships
These scholarships have limited restrictions are are generallly open to all members regardless of chapter affiliation and location. Scholarship amounts range between $500 and $2,500.
Eligibility: Each applicant should meet the following criteria: Be an undergraduate or graduate member of AKPsi; have a strong record of chapter and/or campus leadership; have a GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.00 scale; and be a full-time student in good standing with the chapter and university.
Materials needed for submission of application: Completed application form signed by applicant; validated transcript of collegiate scholastic record (no photocopies); one reference letter from a faculty member, business leader in the community, or an official AKPsi volunteer leader; and an updated résumé.
Application deadline is be February 26.
Chapter Scholarships
The following scholarships were established by, and are restricted to members of the following chapters. Awards are made payable to the recipients and their universities each spring. Chapters with scholarships are as follows:
American, Arizona State (Vasquez Scholarship), Ball State, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State (Rainey Scholarship), Middle Tennessee, Missouri, Pittsburgh-Johnstown (Berkebile Scholarship), Rutgers (de Chavez Scholarship), Seattle, Tennessee (Cooper Scholarship), Texas A&M, Texas - San Antonio (Colunga Scholarship), Toledo, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, Washington, Western Michigan.
Chapters are responsible for selecting their scholarship recipients on or before the MLK holiday each January. If your chapter does not have a fund, contact

Florida Gold Coast Alumni Chapter Scholarship

Graduate students or undergraduates/alumni planning to enroll in graduate school within one year of application date. Must be attending graduate school in South Florida (preferably a school with an AKPsi chapter or colony). Preference given to members of the Florida Gold Coast Alumni Chapter. Application deadline was December 15.
Tennessee Valley Alumni Chapter Scholarship

TVAC Scholarship Application |
Eligibility: Undergraduate enrolled at a school in the Southern Region (Alabama, Mississippi or Tennessee) where there is an active AKPsi chapter (or any active AKPsi chapter with a meaningful relationship with TVAC as determined by the MAPR’s Award Committee). Applicant must have a 2.80 GPA or higher and at least three semesters left in school. Selection based on need and fraternity involvement. Seniors planning to attend graduate school may apply (see application for details). Application deadline was November 25.

Eligibility: Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a Georgia school where there is an active AKPsi chapter. Applicants must have a 3.30 GPA or higher. Application deadline is December 15.

Eligibility: Undergraduate enrolled at Arizona State University or Arizona State University West. Applicant must have a 3.25 GPA or higher, have completed 12 credit hours, and have a minimum of one semester left in school. Selection based on commitment to community service, demonstration of brotherhood, and a thorough understanding on the importance of alumni relations. Application deadline is December 15.
